meet Lizette Trujillo

Lizette Trujillo is the founder of Rockin’ Queen.  She is a Tucson native, who earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Retailing and Consumer Sciences from the University of Arizona along with an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Design from Tucson Design College.  Lizette’s career goal had always been to open a women’s clothing boutique that represented her style and unique taste, “It was very important to me to feature vendors that I felt had an interesting point of view when it came to design.  I think being a native Tucsonan, I felt that I did not have many places to shop that represented me and my fashion needs, so I made it my mission to do so within the realm of Rockin' Queen."  Not only can you come to Rockin’ Queen and view amazing clothing from small design labels from around the country, but Lizette can also offer design experience to customers who might not be able to find what they envision anywhere else.

Fashion should never be taken too seriously…at least that is what we think at Rockin’ Queen.  Clothing is just an instrument we use to portray the fabulous selves that we are inside to the outside world (sort of like when we played dress up as young girls).  Fashion should be a way to exert our individuality, and Rockin’ Queen is the perfect place to find the garments that suite your ever changing style.  Not only do we carry some of the best small label designers from around the country, but we also carry our own in-house designs that breed an innovative and highly creative atmosphere.   Our clothing is definitely not for the tame, so come in and exert your individuality…define style, be the trend-setter, and lead the crowd!  Remember all the world is a stage…what will you be wearing?
